As I write this, I am banned from deviantART effected yesterday, for something as trivial as:
Reason: Continued efforts at contact after being blocked. This behavior is defined as harassment.
Was I angry when I saw this? You bet. Thing is, I had accidentally talked to `sodalicious ON SOMEONE ELSE'S userpage even though I was blocked. I will say this about it: The block system only covers an individual's userpage/shoutbox/personal forum, etc so basically, those are the prohibited commenting areas. The block system might seem perfect on the surface, but in all honesty, there's LOTS of holes.
1. As I said before, the block system only applies to a certain individual's userpage, so if I were to talk to someone on another person's userpage, there's really no grounds for harrassment at all
2. The block system is NOT a completely binding restraining order that prohibits someone from making comments towards another on someone else's userpage,
Basically, Staff had NO reason to ban me like they did, and quite frankly, I'm ready to stop supporting deviantART monetarily
From my experiences with `sodalicious, she is an EXTREMELY abusive individual who has a history of treating new deviants like crap (As other people have told me), and an incident in #help comes to my mind: I went in there, asked a question regarding posting my own WAV files on deviantART. I get my first question answered to my satisfaction, so I then ask where I can post my WAV files hoping I get an answer to that.
WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
`sodalicious did NOT answer said question the first time, so I asked it again, in bold font, hoping that she would see it. Instead, she kicked me out for supposed "harrassment"

If someone has blocked you from their page the least you can do is respect their wish to not come in contact with you. Is it so hard to NOT post a comment when you know it won't do any good?

And you seriously need to stop taking the internet so seriously. If actually think that dA is a bad as you always make it out to be then go find a site you will actually enjoy being on.
Regarding the #help thing. If that's what actually happened then you have to remember that #help is only for dA related matters, they don't have to help you find anywhere else you can post your .wav files. Not to mention you should have checked the faq if you were allowed to post them in the first place before asking in #help.
Do not bring the fact that I am a GD into this, my views would be the same if I was a =, *, ` or even a ~.

`sodalicious is no longer a #helper, and besides that, she doesn't even DESERVE the deviousness award, due to her stinkin' attitude. As far as I remember from what a friend told me, she will NEVER be on Staff because of this.

It's insulting/asinine to think that people can be banned for things as little as this when Staff should be concentrating on what REALLY matters.

1. Sodalicious is still a helper. I know that she is still a helper for a fact. I am in #helpers RIGHT NOW looking at the userlist, and she is still a helper. And she is active as a helper.
2. She doesn't deserve it? She's been around since before you were, how do you know what she did and didn't do before then? I don't know what she did, but I'd imagine if she got the deviousness award, she deserved it.

It's common sense, if someone has blocked you because they don't want you to talk to them, then don't talk to them. no good will come from it.

I'll be honest, I have never come across the member you have mentioned Ben. But you constantly bitch about deviantART which confuses me as to why you even used the site in the first place. JesusIV is right, you shouldn't take the internet so seriously. I'm confused as to how you "accidently" spoke to this person, how do you accidently do that? Hmm.
As far as your ban goes, I wouldn't be surprised that this wasn't down to just this, it was also probably the many of the other things you have done, you bitch and bitch so much about the website, people are probably just fed up of you whining. I feel sorry for stormartists, because i'm pretty sure now, you're going to find people to moan about them too.

I can most definitely handle being wrong, but the fact is, deviantART is in the wrong here.
If something like this was not supposed to happen, then why the hell did they not add on to the Block system by extending it BEYOND a person's userpage, rather than do what they did?

Really? I think someone with a blog seemingly dedicated to bitching about a website isn't the same type of person that said website strives to have in it's userbase. If this is really what you're all about, then I say good riddance.

Well, don't be surprised if someday, you cannot access deviantART at all. deviantART is VERY vulnerable, as it is right now, and the admins aren't giving a shit about fixing those vulnerabilities
